What's In Your Report
Target Purchase Price & Lease Cost The maximum you can pay per vehicle and still save money vs diesel. Take these numbers to dealers and lease companies - negotiate with confidence.
Lower & Upper Estimates See the cautious view and the favourable view, with all assumptions shown. Know what needs to be true for electric to work.
Full Cost Comparison Side-by-side diesel vs electric over your operating period - vehicles, fuel, maintenance, insurance, tax, and residual values.
What To Look For The range, payload and target price a suitable van or truck needs for your duty cycle, so you can check any dealer quote against it. We don't recommend models: prices and specifications change too often for a list to stay accurate.
Grant Eligibility Which schemes you may qualify for, how much you could receive, and how to apply.
Carbon Analysis Direct combustion emissions avoided over your operating period, calculated with UK Government (DESNZ/DEFRA) factors and stated on a GHG Protocol basis.
Transition Checklist Step-by-step actions to take before you buy.
FAQ
Q: How accurate are the estimates? A: The report uses your fleet inputs with stated planning assumptions for vehicle prices, efficiency, maintenance, insurance and residual values (model EVFR-TCO 1.0, assumptions August 2026). Every assumption is printed in the report. It is a feasibility assessment - get dealer quotes and test them against the target prices before purchasing.
Q: What if I have multiple vehicle types? A: Run the calculator separately for each vehicle type (e.g., small vans, large vans, HGVs). Or get in touch for a combined fleet analysis.
Q: Are the grants guaranteed? A: No. Grant schemes are subject to government policy. We show what you may be eligible for based on current rules - always confirm with official sources before purchasing.
Q: Do you include charging infrastructure costs? A: Yes - the report includes indicative depot charging costs and available grants. For detailed site surveys and electrical capacity assessments, ask about our premium support.
Q: What's the difference between lower and upper estimates? A: Lower estimate uses your inputs with cautious assumptions on residual value, insurance and maintenance. Upper estimate shows the same fleet under favourable market conditions (stronger EV residuals, lower EV insurance, larger maintenance saving, and a favourable duty cycle for HGVs). Energy prices are your inputs in both, and both use the same grant assumptions.
Q: How quickly will I receive my report? A: Within 5 working days of payment, usually sooner.
Q: Can I get a refund? A: If you feel the report didn't answer your decision question, contact us within 7 days and we'll make it right.
